The Spinnaker Bar was opened in May of 2001 by The Brown Family from Donegal in the North West of Ireland. The Brown family is Gilbert (a fisherman), his wife Hazel, their two sons Garret and Raymond, and their daughter Nicola.

The bar was a barren shell which sat empty for many years. Hazel and Nicola were the first to arrive and fall in love with the panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean: a fishing boat coming home from a day at sea Returning to Ireland they knew that they would be back, and they were, along with the whole family. The Spinnaker was born!

After a successful first simmer in 2001 we decided to close the bar and extend it into another unit allowing us to provide live entertainment every night of the week. Refusing to compromise on quality, we supply only the freshest, most high quality food and many of our dishes are made to order. Relax with a cold drink on our terrace and enjoy the views whilst our cooks prepare your meal!
